SOLD: Pink Green Ganesha Sterling Silver Miniature Painting Necklace

This necklace features a Ganesha pendant hand painted by an artist based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. To match the green and pink colors in the painting, I used pink jade beads with a dash of pink Cat's eye cubes and green crystals. The pendant is in Sterling Silver (the back side has the new designer 92.5 stamp) and the S clasp and metal beads used through the length of the necklace are silver plated zinc beads.

Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka or Binayaka, is one of the most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon. In India, not only do Hindu sects worship him regardless of affiliations, devotion to Ganesha also extends to Jains and Buddhists.

Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the Deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rites and ceremonies. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions.

The necklace measures approx. 18 inches from end to end.
